Jos Koenen just reported that an example of db4o under JavaFX is working just fine (you might also want to check the code in his previous post here).

Don't miss this opportunity to check JavaFX persistence with db4o (source code included). Although this is a basic example you might want to contribute more advanced examples based on this one to the thread.
