Jan Harder, a reseacher at the University of Bremen, just reached out to us to let us know about project RCF. His team developed Rich Clone Format (RCF) as part of a framework to detect code clones - passages of duplicated code in software - which are a common problem in software enginnering. They are said to threaten the quality of the system. The RCF is a data format for exchanging and analyzing code clone data. It implements a data model to ease analysis  persisted by db4o and comes with an API. RCF ist developed by the Software Engineering Group at the University of Bremen, Germany. It has been designed to serve research purposes and will use the Apache license.
